Interior Designer

Responsibilities :

• Make necessary calculations, analyse data, interpret clients’ design sketches and specifications, produce neat and clear sketch plans, submission/contract drawings
• Produce graphical information for presentation to client employing the use of computer media
• Highlight technical problems and suggest solutions for decision-making
• Understand survey drawings and site measurements and produces any necessary plans and elevations
• Understand and work from structural and building services drawings
• Review and analyse usage of interior space and to analyse restrictions on usage
• Use colors, render simple washes and reproduce color schemes using manual and/or computer media
• Construction of models for feasibility studies

Requirements :

• Diploma or above in Interior Design related discipline or other similar qualifications;
• At least 5 years on-the-job training on sketches, layout plans and working details for design is essential, with multinational corporate exposure and advantage;
• Proficiency in operating AutoCAD, Adobe illustrator & Photoshop;
• Familiar with design procedures and contract documentations especially specifications;
• Good drawings and record management;
• Knowledge of interior / construction practices and procedures;
• knowledge of BIM Revit is an advantage;
• Good command of spoken English and Chinese;
