IT Officer (Infrastructure)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform configuration, software updates, deployment and maintenance of company’s IT equipment at workable level;
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, networking and all other IT related issues;
• Monitor daily system performance and perform periodical system maintenance, network devices and equipment maintenance;
• Support IT infrastructure maintenance, development and ongoing availability;
• Plan and implement IT systems and network solutions on company premises;
• Collaborate with vendors, external service providers and other internal IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to end user computing;
• Assist in the procurement of end-user computing hardware, software, and peripherals;
• Assist in reviewing procedures, standards and implementation requirements on company’s IT infrastructure and ensure these are implemented as stated; and
• Assist in any other ad-hoc tasks of the Department.

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields;
• At least of 3 years of experience in IT operation/IT infrastructure;
• Qualified Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CCNP holder is preferred;
• Hands-on experience with data networks; proficient troubleshooting abilities with LAN switching and IP routing; a thorough understanding of data networking concepts and the particular technologies needed to maintain and operate high-speed networks;
• Experience on window/linux server, application implementation and support is preferred (e.g. Window OS and application, Windows/Linux server, Microsoft AD, Veeam, Nutanix, database SQL server etc.);
• Practical experience in Lotus Notes and ERP administration is an advantage;
• Work experience in MNC/Government/Public sector is a plus;
• Self-motivated, quick learner and strong sense of responsibility;
• Effective team player, with good communication and analytical skills; and
• Good communication on English and Chinese.
