IMS is an international school with four campuses across Hong Kong Island and over 150 employees.  We are looking for a resourceful and customer  oriented individual to support our IT Operations. Based in our Stanley campus, the candidate will need to demonstrate good problem solving skills, be an effective communicator and a willingness to work proactively and independently in a school environment.   

Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting system, email, network and server issues
• Manage and support Wi-fi, switches, firewalls and mobile devices
• Perform day-to-day PC hardware and software support for both Windows and Apple operating systems, including hardware and software installation, support and problem diagnosis
• Provide usage support for off-the-shelf software/ systems like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other Application Systems
• Support and operate various audio/visual systems for school events (including those outside normal school hours)
• Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by the IT manager

Qualification Requirements

• Certificate/ Diploma in Computer Science related disciplines
• Experience in PC hardware /software installation and support with Microsoft Windows, Office, internet browsers and other Windows based systems
• Basic knowledge in networking like network switching and routing, network configuration and diagnosis 
• Experience in software/ systems like Google Workspace, Adobe Photoshop, Apple MacOS, Linux, or any Information System like ERP, Sales, Purchasing or Accounting will be an advantage
• Ability to work independently, willing to learn and with good communication skills
