Junior Product Designer / Product Designer (Toys)

Responsibilities:

• Generating creative ideas and concepts for new toys that are innovative, engaging and marketable.
• Conducting research and analysis on market trends, consumer preferences and competitor products to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO, manager, developers and customers to build a groundbreaking toy product.
• Define, implement, and refine design processes and frameworks that support rapid scaling of our product and team.
• Contribute to product strategy discussions, ensuring that design choices directly drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
• Adapt quickly to evolving project requirements and proactively seek opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with factory to source and cost-control for new components that align with design and safety standards.
• Support other internal teams with design input if required.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma holder in Product Design or related disciplines
• At least 2 years of working experience in product design, preferably within toys
• Proficiency in using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Rhino, KeyShot etc
• Good hand-sketch and technical drawing skills
• Good command of both in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua
• Self-motivated, attentive to detail, able to work independently with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, presentable manner, and a team-oriented mindset
• Open-minded and willing to listen to opinions and take on new challenges
