JUNIOR UX/UI DESIGNER

Introduction

As a Junior UX/UI Designer at CircleSquare, you'll play a vital role in crafting exceptional digital experiences for our high-profile clients. You will be involved in the entire design process, from initial concept to final delivery, collaborating with a talented team to deliver exceptional results.Your responsibilities will include:

• Concept Development: Independently create original and compelling UX/UI concepts, staying ahead of current design trends and maintaining commercial awareness.
• Collaboration: Partner with the creative team to develop innovative digital retail and experiential concepts prioritising customer experience and visual impact.
• Design Adaptation & Refinement: Adapt and modify existing designs across multiple digital channels and social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand guidelines and meticulous attention to detail.
• Prototyping & Visualisation: Produce high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and visual assets efficiently, accurately reflecting brand identity and user needs.
• Project Ownership: Take ownership of assigned projects from ideation to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage assigned projects from concept to completion.
• Generate innovative ideas and effectively present them to the team and clients.
• Prioritise tasks effectively while providing support to team members.
• Maintain consistently high design standards, ensuring only the best work is delivered to clients.
• Collaborate across the agency to elevate the standard of digital creativity.
• Foster a collaborative environment where ideas are shared and explored.
• Stay current with the latest trends in UX/UI design.

Skills & Qualifications

Essential

• Proven proficiency in Figma and Adobe XD.
• Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional UX/UI design skills and user-centred design thinking.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Creative thinking and the ability to deliver innovative concepts.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience (recent graduates encouraged to apply).

Preferred

• Experience in a creative agency or in-house design environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic understanding is sufficient).
• Knowledge of additional design software or prototyping tools.
• Understanding of user research methodologies.

As well as attend meetings and briefings with clients and teammates, Junior UX/UI Designers will be based in an office environment and may occasionally have to work hours outside the regular working hours.
