Job Description

Job Title -Lead of IT Professional Service (Hong Kong)

The Requirement:

As the director of IT professional services, you will lead, coach, and manage our software implementation teams and their projects of implementing applications and services. You will be a key person to exemplify excellence in business and project management processes and procedures. You will also set best-practice measures in order to maximize business efficiency. As well as identifying organizational gaps and issues, provide guidance and leadership, and drive continuous rejuvenation for the organization as a whole. Resulting in improved overall performances, customer satisfactions, and consequently:

Responsibilities

Provide industry related expertise to internal teams, implementation partners as well as existing and prospective customers

• Coach, direct, and oversee our implementation teams and their subsequent implementation projects

• Review implementation scope, execution plan and deliverable schedules in collaboration with other senior management personnel and stakeholders

• Monitoring overall team workload, forecast, identify, and address possible team bottlenecks, and formulate team manpower strategies as a whole

• Proactively manage resource allocation and execution plans to secure companies direction and objectives

• Monitor and proactively escalate project and business deviation to key stakeholders

• Continuously manage changes in scope, identify potential risks, and implement contingency plans

• Manage development dependencies and critical path for resolution, track implementation milestones and quality of deliverables

Skills and qualifications:

Coach, mentor and motivate team members so as to drive for positive attitude/action and accountability for work

• Strong Business Acumen is preferrable

• Create and set best business practices and project guidelines to promote and achieve best team efficiency

• Excellent client facing skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills and strong written and oral communication skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Previous relevant business department leading experience is required, preferably in enterprise systems implementation

• Solid experience in enterprise systems implementation, preferably in retail and consumer products businesses

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Familiar with software application implementation processes, preferably with thorough knowledge in Agile

• Strength in theoretical and practical aspects of project management. PMP Certification, a plus

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial

Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management, change management and management software

• BS or BA Degree, MBA preferred

• 15+ years solid work experience in an IT Software Development project management capacity

• 15+ years of business analysis experience in enterprise software implementation, preferably working in retail or consumer products companies

• Excellent English and Chinese are the must.

Travel Requirement:

• Able to travel, as required on projects
