Lecturer II (Job ID: 10338)

The Department of Physics in the School of Science of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology seeks applicants for the full-time position of Lecturer II to work in our self-financed MSc programs. Major responsibilities include teaching postgraduate courses (mostly in physics and data science), curriculum development, student project supervision, and any other duties assigned by the Department Head of Physics.

Applicants should possess a doctoral degree in physics or a related field, with experience in applied data science and/or computational physics. They should also have teaching experience in tertiary education and excellent communication skills. 

(Duration: 2 years, renewable subject to performance review and mutual agreement)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
