NGO Talent Development
To support development of NGO talent pipelines and build future leadership, the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) is committed to develop new initiatives for talent acquisition, development, and retention at the social service sector. Apart from equipping NGO practitioners with qualities and capacity required for social service future leaders, we also facilitate intra- and cross-sectoral experience sharing and network building to foster growth and development of Council's Agency Members and NGO practitioners. As a talent development and resource platform, we bring together NGO practitioners from diverse background and build a co-learning and support network across services and organizations. In the Talent Development team, we collaborate and co-create towards an impact-driven and nurturing culture both within the team and in the sector.
Manager (Ref No: HKCSS/053/2024)
One-year renewable contract
Responsibilities:
As part of the dynamic team, you will collaborate and work with other team members collectively to:
- Develop, implement, and manage talent development initiatives and programmes for the social service sector, from planning, budgeting, implementation, to evaluation
- Engage and manage partnership with various stakeholders and partners to foster collaboration and co-creation
- Plan, coordinate and organize events and seminars of various scales to cultivate a learning culture in the sector
- Prepare work plans, project documents, data consolidation and analysis, budget, and reports
- Oversee the works and development of other team members to foster a nurturing culture in the team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree holder in any discipline, preferably in Business Management, Human Resources Management, Social Science, Public Administration, Social Work or related fields
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project management/ talent development/ learning and development/ stakeholder engagement, preferably with supervisory experience
- Passionate in talent development of the social service sector
- Self-motivated and a good team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexible and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
- Demonstrated capacity to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and work independently
- Excellent command in English and Chinese, both written and spoken
