Multimedia Designer

Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative ideas for creating captivating video content, including animations, motion graphics, and other multimedia assets tailored for various communication channels
• Oversee the end-to-end video production process, including conceptualising storyboards, scheduling shoots, and setting up professional-grade production equipment such as cameras, lighting, and audio systems
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in video production and storytelling. Understand video content's purpose and target audience to craft compelling narratives through advanced sequencing and editing techniques
• Edit and enhance video footage to produce visually appealing and engaging content optimised for YouTube and other social media platforms, focusing on catering to audiences of various segments
• Edit and mix audio components, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to ensure a polished and professional audio experience for all video projects
• Work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple projects simultaneously to deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines
• Organise and maintain video production equipment, ensuring it is always ready for use. Manage and update the digital asset library to streamline access for ongoing and future projects
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as directed to support the organisation’s multimedia needs
• Design and produce interactive multimedia assets, including digital panel modules, infographics, and presentations, to enhance internal and external communication efforts
• Tailor multimedia content for seamless compatibility, ensuring high-quality performance and responsiveness across various devices, including display panels and websites
• Work with internal stakeholders to gather project requirements, offer creative insights and ensure all multimedia content aligns with the organisation’s objectives, branding guidelines, and overall vision
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Film Production, or other related fields
• Advanced knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), motion graphics tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects), and graphic design applications (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in multimedia design, video production, and creative content development, in either agency or in-house settings
• Strong storytelling ability, attention to detail, and the ability to balance creative ideas with practical project constraints
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
