Job Description

Requirements

  • A native English speaker
  • A holder of university degree (in any subject)
  • In possession of teaching-related qualifications such as TEFL/TESOL Certificate, CELTA and PGCE/PGDE in English
  • Prior experience in teaching the relevant subject in secondary school(s)
  • Understanding of the local secondary education curriculum and English language requirements

Responsibilities

  • Teach English as a second language to Hong Kong students in secondary school (for students aged between 12 and 18)
  • Promote English learning in school
  • Lead and organise English activities outside the classroom
  • Develop lesson plans and teaching materials
  • Collaborate with local teachers and the English Panel of the schools on curriculum and resource development
