Part-time Instructor (Korean Programme)

The Korean Programme of the Department of Linguistics and Modern Languages invites applications for a part-time instructor position for the academic year of 2025-26, commencing August 2025. The instructor will teach Korean course(s) from beginners to advanced level. Applicants should have (i) a relevant Master's degree or above; (ii) preferably at least 2 years of experience in teaching Korean courses; (iii) the ability to use English as a medium of instruction; (iv) preferably experience in teaching Asian learners at the university level; and (v) experience of conducting teaching and learning activities through online platforms.

Non-native Korean applicants should have a degree from a university in Korea and a TOPIK level 6 certification obtained within the past two years in addition to the requirements listed above.

Appointment will be made on contract basis commencing September 2025.
