Job Description

The University now invites application for the following position:

Part-time Library Assistant (Research and Learning Support) – Library (Ref: PTLA (RLS) (LIB) 2024-11-01)

Responsibilities: 

  • perform data cleaning to prepare for the implementation of the University’s Research Information Management System (RIMS);
  • ensure accurate and timely data entry into the RIMS according to guidelines;
  • assist in retrieving data and information on HSUHK scholars from various platforms; and
  • provide logistical and clerical support for RIMS implementation activities.

Applicants should:

  • possess a higher diploma or above qualification, or equivalent;
  • be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications;
  • have strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy;
  • have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); and
  • be able to work independently and as part of a team.

The appointee will be required to work shifts on weekdays.  Related library qualifications and working experience in academic libraries will be an advantage.
