Part-time Research Assistant in the Department of English

Part-time Research Assistant in the Department of English (Appointment for 9 months) [Ref. T/020/24]

Duties

1. Assist in the design of teaching materials for prompt engineering and customized AI chatbot;
2. Assist in conducting interviews or focus groups with students; and
3. Assist in data analysis and manuscript preparation.

Requirements

1. A Bachelor’s degree or above in Linguistics/Communication/Information Studies, or Computer Science;
2. Excellent command of spoken and written English;
3. Knowledge in theories and concepts in discourse analysis and linguistic pragmatics;
4. Knowledge in generative AI and prompt engineering; and
5. Having internship and/or prior working experience in Hong Kong would be an advantage.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
