We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences:

 

Part-time Teaching Assistant [UG] (2025 Summer Term) (Ref: 25000KT)

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointees will be required to assist in, and where necessary, undertake course planning, development and delivery of the full-time face-to-face undergraduate programmes. Major duties include conducting tutorials, marking assignments/examination scripts and performing other related teaching and administrative duties.

 

Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence for the relevant course(s) are specified as follows:

 

  • BSCI A213F Sociology of Health in Nursing 

Applicants should possess a higher degree, in Sociology or a related discipline. They should have teaching/professional experience. Relevant teaching experience at tertiary level would be an advantage.

 

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.

 

The candidate will be required to work during daytime on campus for the period from May 2025 to early September 2025 for a maximum of 17 hours per week.
