Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • To assist patients in obtaining services in JCCRC
  • To provide continuous support to patients and their families during their stay in JCCRC
  • To communicate with hospital social workers or other agencies about potential referrals
  • To handle JCCRC preadmission work, including the handling of enquiries, arranging family meetings, communicating with hospital social workers or agencies, etc
  • To handle charity bed financial assessment when necessary by liaising with RSW of HKACS
  • To ensure smooth patients’ admission procedures, handle difficulties faced by patients & families
  • To handle inquiries and complaints from patients/families, coordinate communication between patients/families and appropriate staff when needed and follow up to ensure satisfactory resolution
  • To collect, compile and analyse service related statistics, coordinate and conduct client satisfaction survey
  • To be responsible for the promotion of JCCRC’s services to relevant parties, e.g. MSWs & medical professionals in HA hospitals and the private sector. To cooperate with the Communication & Resource Development Department in carrying out promotion work of JCCRC (e.g. writing of articles for publishing, identifying and liaising with suitable patients and their families for publicity work, etc.)
  • To participate in HKACS’s annual events
  • To perform any other duties as assigned
  • May require working overtime & irregular hours

Requirements:

  • Degree in related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years’ working experience of which in a medical or health care setting is an advantage
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills
  • Able to work overtime & irregular hours.

Successful candidates will be offered a renewable contract term appointment with up to 10% of total basic salary as contract-end gratuity upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance.
