Procurement Manager

Main Goal:

Ensure optimum inventory level (to minimize the cases of temporary out of stock and prevent over-stocking)
Renew our collections on time and keep our collections competitive in the market by continuous development
Enlarge our pool of reliable vendors and increase our bargaining power continuously.

Responsibilities:

Inventory management

• Timely and proper replenishment
• PO, shipment logistics, and goods receiving
• Stock-take, update the inventory regularly to ensure the inventory records clear and accurate

Product management

• Product matrix design and product line expansion
• Launch of new fabric collections and retirement of old collections,
• Maintenance of products information and data

Sourcing and vendor management

• Negotiate with vendors on routine and tough topics, such as pricing, MOQ, defects disputes, production lead time, etc
• Obtain industrial information from vendors
• Search, evaluate and negotiate with new reliable vendors to increase our alternatives in vendor selection, product line expansion and enlarge our bargaining power

Sample books management

• Manage sample books production (including internal and outsourcing production)
• Manage sample book case/booklet production (to ensure to match the needs of sample book production)
• Sourcing and management of sample book/booklet related vendors

Process management

• Continuously improve the processes
• Simplify and streamline the processes

Team Management

• Communicate company’s core values to the team
• Set clear targets, job duties and responsibilities with team member(s)
• Motivate team member(s) and empower them to success
• Coordinate with other teams closely

Requirements:

• At least 6 years’ experience in sourcing, warehouse and inventory management related position.
• Degree Holder
• Have an interest or enthusiasm for fabrics, textiles, or fashion
• Love to deal with people and have passion on negotiation
• Efficiency, super detail minded and well-organized
• Open minded and keep continuous improvement
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel and ERP system. The more experienced, the better.
• Smooth communication (oral and verbal) in both English and Mandarin.
• Strong logical thinking and analytical skills
• Quick learner in a fast-paced environment
• Leadership and team player
