Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Help to translate business strategy into product strategy
- Own key parts of the product roadmap
- Write requirements and create high-level UI mockups
- Articulate the product vision to your engineers and serve as the product expert
- Lead scrum meetings (planning meetings, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives), speaking on behalf of the target users
- Maintain and prioritise the product backlog
- Gather and analyse feedback from users to shape features and requirements
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of relevant product or project management experience
- Familiarity with agile software development processes
- Familiarity with data analysis tools for extracting insights from user behavior
- Excellent communication skills
- Good technical background (e.g. software development experience, a technical degree, or experience working in a software company)
Bonus Points for:
- Familiarity with UX/UI tools eg. Figma
- Experience with Jira
- Prior work experience in the education or relevant industry
- Some knowledge of Mandarin (beginner level is OK)
Language requirements:
- English fluency (our software development team operates in English, and company meetings are in English)
- Conversational Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus, but is not required
