Job Description

  • Assist in workshops, programmes, volunteer training, and community outreach activities to raise mental health awareness
  • Identify new stakeholders and maintain network with existing community stakeholders
  • Develop informational materials and resources for the community
  • Design promotional materials and create mental health related content for Social Medial platforms
  • A sub-degree (Associate Degree or Diploma) holder or above in social science-related discipline, or other related disciplines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in mental health services or working with ethnically diverse communities preferred
  • Proficiency in written, verbal and presentation skills in English required and fluency in Cantonese/Hindi/Nepali/Urdu, etc. is preferred.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office tools and social media (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Work location: Wanchai, Hong Kong Eastern, Tsing Yi

In 1978, under the commission of the Baptist Convention of Hong Kong, Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service (BOKSS) was founded by Hong Kong Baptist University (formerly known as the Hong Kong Baptist College) and came into service in 1982. We firstly began our community services in Wan Chai district and Hong Kong Island. Over 30 years of development, we have expanded our services to districts in Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories. Since April 2009, BOKSS has been incorporated under the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance and is one of the tax-exempted charitable institutions under the Inland Revenue Ordinance. Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service is a company limited by guarantee.
