NGO Talent Development
To support development of NGO talent pipelines and build future leadership, the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) is dedicated to develop new initiatives for talent acquisition, development, and retention at the social service sector. Apart from equipping NGO practitioners with the essential skills and qualities needed for social service future leaders, we also facilitate intra- and cross-sectoral experience sharing and network building to foster growth and development of Council's Agency Members and NGO practitioners. By bringing together NGO practitioners from diverse backgrounds, we aim to establish and sustain a vibrant co-learning and support network across services and organizations. In the Talent Development team, we value and encourage collaboration and co-creation to foster an impact-driven and nurturing culture, both within our team and in the broader sector.

Programme Executive (Talent Development Team) (Ref No: HKCSS/004/2025)
One-year renewable contract

Responsibilities:

As part of the dynamic team, you will collaborate and work with other team members collectively to:

  • Assist in planning and implementing various talent development initiatives to strengthen capacity building of the social service sector
  • Organize talent development activities such as training workshops, forums, visitations, experiential learning activities, and other stakeholder engagement events
  • Assist in coordination of sector-wide survey on human resources management practices
  • Engage and coordinate with various stakeholders and partners to ensure smooth delivery of events/activities
  • Provide administrative and logistic support for meetings, events, and other daily operation works and enquiries

Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma holder in any discipline
  • Experience in project administration, event management, or learning and development will be an advantage
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, well-organized, able to work independently, and a good team player
  • Good communication and writing skills, both in English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese Word Processing

 

5-day work per week. 15-day annual leave.
