Position Summary:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating projects according to direction given and predetermine timelines and budgets.  Managing projects with the factories, US PD, Hong Kong Engineers, Hong Kong Brand Design team and other cross-functional teams to ensure direction and product specifications are maintained throughout project life cycles are central to this position.

You’ll Do:

  • Manage project development from initiation to closure (shipment).
  • Participate in the development of the project scope, including developing project activities, goals, deliverables, schedules, resources, and milestones, among other matters.
  • Accountable for project results and to complete project outlining scope, status meetings, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget (costing), and timing.
  • Support all aspects of project work throughout the entire project lifecycle and apply business process and best practices project management methodologies.
  • Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports.
  • Support project management by preparing clear written and verbal communications to key stakeholders regarding the project objectives, status, issue resolution and risk management, among other key project matters.
  • Maintain the day-to-day communication and business relationships with all members of the extended project team, including cross-functional partners such as: factories, US PD and HK Engineers and HK Brand.
  • Maintain confidentiality of department and corporate information.
  • Coordinate with the Project Engineer or Engineering Manager to maintain archive of all digital design files.
  • Coordinate test sample submissions and follow up on pass/fail test reports.
  • Review and update cost sheets.
  • Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout project life cycle.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • University degree is a plus or post-secondary education or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Strong communications and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with factories/ vendors and understanding of manufacturing development process.
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work under pressure and proficient in multi-tasking.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, attention to detail, and analytical skills
  • Advanced computer skills specifically in MS Office applications.
  • Good command of English and Chinese languages. Comfortable communicating effectively to senior management in both languages.
