Project Engineer

Job Descriptions

• Plan, manage, and control engineering projects from prototyping to production;
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary product development activities with vendors, US office and internal departments;
• Communicate and resolve all product, quality and manufacturing issues among US office, vendors and internal departments;
• Actively manage new product timelines and ensure all processes are on-track to meet committed delivery dates;
• Monitor the schedule and on-site support from development start to OBS.
• Provide manufacturing support as needed after Production Start.
• Perform ad hoc assignments as requested.

Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering; Project Management; or equivalent;
• 8 Years relevant experience in management of engineering projects in manufacturing environment
• Experience in toys industry and has knowledge of toys standards for major markets
• Familiar with licensed product process and approval;
• Able to work from concept drawing through development until production;
• Possesses good problem solving skills, and independent decision making abilities, while working in an demanding, fast-paced team setting;
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin;
• Readily to travel to vendors in China
