Job Description

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a) provide a wide range of hands-on support to the lnnoHK Centres in the implementation of HR policies and procedures, including but not limited to recruitment, appointment, onboarding, compensation and benefits, payroll, termination of employment, disciplinary and grievance issues and maintenance of personnel records;

(b) assist in staff performance evaluation exercises and development of staff training and development programmes with minimum supervision;

(c) liaise with internal and external stakeholders for effective implementation of HR policies and procedures;

(d) assist in the preparation of reports and management review;

(e) provide general support for the office's administrative duties, including but not limited to the maintenance of records, coordination of meetings, and support for events and activities; and

(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Research and Innovation or his/her delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a) have a recognised degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related discipline;

(b) have at least three years of relevant work experience;

(c) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua;

(d) possess excellent organisation, interpersonal and communication skills;

(e) be a good team player, detail-minded, proactive and able to work independently with minimum supervision; and

(f) be proficient in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
