Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Execute the day-to-day implementation of the project, ensure the funded project outputs and outcomes are met.
  • Act as a key contact point responsible for liaising with trainees and schools.
  • Manage and monitor the delivery of training, practicum and career matching service of the project.
  • Promote the project with various online and offline platforms so as to build a good network with schools/ employers and recruit the required number of trainees.
  • Assist in preparing reports, funding proposal, presentation deck as required.
  • Others assigned by supervisor.

 

Requirements:

  • Tertiary educated with minimum 3 years of relevant work experience (vocational training/ ERB course management experience preferred). Candidates with less experience will be considered as Project Assistant.
  • Experience in training services/ course management, especially in qualification framework development would be an advantage.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are proficient in Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Tagalog, Nepali, Thai language.
  • Knowledge of ethnic minority poverty and education issues.
  • Passionate in serving ethnic minority communities. A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possess a can-do attitude and willing to learn.
  • Self-initiated and responsible personality, able to work independently and multi-tasking with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
  • Proficient in computer literacy and applications including MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Shift duty is required (usually on Saturdays).
  • Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must.
