Alumni Affairs and Development Office
The appointee will be responsible for providing support to the Fundraising Team under the Alumni Affairs and Development Office (AADO). His/her main duties will include:
(a) To conduct an in-depth analysis of donation data and ensure the accuracy and completeness of donation records;
(b) To provide strategic support in the implementation of donation strategies, including scholarships, bursaries, and the naming of facilities;
(c) To assist in donor relation activities, including the development and maintenance of relationships with potential and existing donors, and the formulation of proposals and reports.
(d) To collaborate closely with internal units on donation-related matters, providing guidance and support as needed;
(e) To provide support to Committees, such as The EdUHK Foundation;
(f) To work with other team members in AADO to deliver the objectives and strategies of the Office; and
(g) To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s) or his/her delegate(s).
Applicants should (a) have a recognised degree or above; (b) with 2 years or more of post-qualification work experience; (c) have a proven track record in formulating and delivering strategies and policies; (d) have extensive experience in internal and external stakeholder management; (e) be innovative, eager to excel, willing to go an extra mile to achieve objectives and a good team-player; (f) have good communication, presentation and negotiation skills; (g) be pleasant, presentable and proactive, and must be able to formulate/ implement plans independently and work under pressure; and (h) have an excellent command of written and spoken languages in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua). Applicants with donation administrative experience in tertiary institution settings will have an advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include the University’s Voluntary Contributions to MPF Scheme or a contract-end lump sum payment (totaling up to 10% of the basic salary), leave, medical and dental benefits.
