Project Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Project Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Carry out Quantity Surveying duties for the project in hand including preparation of documents for subletting, Main Contract & Sub-Contract interim payment application/valuations, cost estimation, VO valuation / assessment, certification of subcontractor payment, final account, contractual claims
• Perform cost review and tender analysis, and prepare documents for contractor subletting
• Assist in procurement and handle supplier matters
• Attend meetings / site inspection and communicate with consultant, client and sub-contractor
• Collaborate and solve problem with managers and project team on QS related matters
• Budgeting and cost control on main contract

Requirements

• Higher Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction or equivalent
• At least 6 years relevant working experience
• Less experience will be considered as Assistant Project Quantity Surveyor
• HKIS/RICS is an advantage
• Work experience in Main Contractor firm is an advantage
• Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese
• Proactive, positive, outgoing, self-driven, strong sense of responsibility and team player
• Good problem solving, analytical and negotiation skills
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills
