QA Engineer / Sr. QA Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Review artworks, FEP samples and FEP reports with other departments and suppliers to ensure products comply with updated international safety standards and customers’ requirements
• Liaise with overseas customers, testing labs and factories various issues relating to compliance, regulatory and quality issues, including QA specification and testing plan from product development to mass production and post shipment
• Handle some ad-hoc quality issues, such as outside lab failures or customer complaints

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanic / Electronic / Manufacturing / Quality Engineering or the equivalent
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in trading, buying office or testing laboratory
• Good knowledge of toys, hardline, cosmetic and electronic industry
• Familiar with retailer’s protocols, such as Walmart, Costco and Target, etc.
• Familiar with international safety standards including ASTM, CPSC, General Product Safety Regulation, FCC, REACH, etc.
• Knowledge of factory audits, e.g. ESCP, SMETA,      SCAN, ISO 9001, etc.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good team player, independent and self-driven
• Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Required to travel to China occasionally
• Immediate available preferred
