QA (Testing) Manager

Job Summary:
The Testing Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the testing efforts for our software products and applications. This includes managing a team of QA engineers, defining and implementing testing strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. The Testing Manager works closely with development, product, and other stakeholders to align testing activities with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of QA engineers and ensure they have the necessary resources, training, and support to perform their roles effectively
• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies, frameworks, and processes to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and define appropriate testing approaches
• Establish and track key testing metrics and KPIs to measure the quality and effectiveness of testing efforts
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues related to software quality, and escalate concerns to leadership as needed
• Continuously improve testing processes and techniques to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall quality of software deliverables
• Provide regular status updates and reports to management on the progress and outcomes of testing activities
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to software testing

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and quality assurance best practices
• Proficient in manual and automated testing techniques, including experience with test automation frameworks and tools
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• ISTQB or equivalent qualification highly regarded
• SI Experience is preferred
• Experience in pre-sales experience is preferred
