Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all maintenance service requests are executed accurately and safely, adhering to company policies and legal requirements, by reviewing the work of technicians and contractors, and approving the final outcomes.
- Compile a report based on the results of the final inspections, ensuring that corrective actions are taken by the designated parties.
- Assess and recommend suitable contractors from a pre-approved list, guided by the site investigation report provided by the technician and the negotiated terms.
- Regularly evaluate the contractor list in collaboration with senior management, taking into account each contractor's performance history, quality of work, and cost efficiency.
- Formulate maintenance strategies and policies to facilitate the effective operation of the team.
- Offer technical guidance and support to both the team and contractors to uphold high standards of work quality and service.
- Assist project sponsors in justifying investment initiatives by delivering technical insights regarding timelines, estimated costs, and a roster of qualified contractors.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- A Higher Diploma or higher in Engineering or Building Services is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in maintenance within the food and beverage, food chains, or retail industries, including at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Previous experience in property or facilities management is preferred.
- Possession of a Grade A Registered Electrical Worker certification is a plus, though not essential.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are essential for success in this role.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to mentor and inspire team members.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment while maintaining precision and thoroughness.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.
