Job Description

Research Assistant (Public Law and Human Rights Forum) in the School of Law (Appointment for 12 months with the possibility of extension) [Ref. T/014/24]

Duties

Manage daily operation of research centre; provide assistance in organising research-related conferences/workshops; arrange visits relating to research exchanges; prepare publicity materials and reports; maintain and update research centre’s website and perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree with relevant working experience. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), excellent writing and editing skills; good computer skills; and good interpersonal and organisational skills are required. The appointee should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Successful candidate may be considered for appointment on a full-time or part-time basis.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. For full-time appointment, fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
