Currie & Brown is currently looking for a Resident Quantity Surveyor (RQS) for our Hong Kong office. The successful candidate will work on-site to perform Quantity Surveyor duties.

Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements:

Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (MHKIS) Quantity Surveying Division or equivalent.

Duties and responsibilities for the successful candidate will include, but not limited to, the following:

(a)         Taking up the roles and actions of the representative or delegate of the Project Manager/Cost Manager as appropriate under the Works Contract as assigned by theConsultant;

(b)         Assessment of payments, compensation events/variations/claims, defined costs and fees target prices, pain-gain shares, etc. for the Works Contract;

(c)         Dispute avoidance and resolution of the Works Contract;

(d)         Resolution of project risks and site problems of the Works Contract and the project;

(e)         Performance management of the Contractor and their subcontractors and suppliers;

(f)          Financial management and forecasting of the Works Contract and the project;

(g)         Monitoring of achievement of objectives, targets and key performance indicators of the Works Contract and the project;

(h)         Resolution of public enquiries and complaints in relation to the Works Contract and the project;

(i)           Adoption of New Engineering Contract (NEC), Building Information Modelling (BIM), electronic communication system and/or other smart technologies as appropriate to facilitate the site supervision and contract management of the Works Contract;

(j)           Collaboration with other RSS ranks for delivery of the Works Contract and the project in safe, efficient and cost effective manner with good quality;

(k)         Management of RSS subordinates and site offices; and

(l)           Other duties related to this contract, the Works Contract or the project as may be assigned by the head of the RSS team, their supervisor and the Consultant from time to time.

偉歷信現正招聘具備下列基本入職資格的駐地盤工料測量師。受聘人會在地盤處理糧單，工程估算及布有關合約事宜等。

最低資歷：

·        香港測量師學會(工料測量組)會員。

獲聘後的職責和責任將包括但不限於以下內容：

(a)    根據顧問的指派，在工程合同下擔任項目經理/成本經理的代表或委託人的角色和職責;

(b)    評估付款、補償事件/變更/索賠, 界定直接成本, 目標成本及攤分節省工程費或分擔超支機制;

(c)    避免和解決工程合同的爭議;

(d)    解決工程合同和專案的風險及現場問題;

(e)    承包商及其分包商與供應商的績效管理;

(f)     進行工程合同和項目的財務管理和預測;

(g)    監控工程合同和專案目標、指標和關鍵績效指標的實現情況;

(h)    解決與工程合同和專案相關的公眾查詢和投訴;

(i)     採用新工程合同（NEC）、建築資訊模型（BIM）、電子通信系統和/或其他智慧技術，以促進工程合同的現場監督和合同管理;

(j)     與其他駐地工料測量師（RSS）級別的同事合作，以安全、高效、經濟且高品質的方式交付工程合同和專案;

(k)    管理RSS下屬和現場辦公室; 以及

(l)     根據RSS團隊負責人、其上級和顧問的指派，執行與本協定、工程合同或專案相關的其他職責。
