Safety Supervisor (Site Investigation) (Site Based) (1-Year Contract)

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading the site safety team;
• Assist in making recommendations in connection with safety issues and ensure that the workers are following the rule of the client safety requests;
• Completed appropriate training course for Safety Supervisors;
• Daily safety inspections of all active parts of site;
• Conduct toolbox talks and weekly safety walks;
• Strengthen the safety communication on site;
• Hazard identification meetings, pre-work safety checks;
• Administering and ensuring compliance with the safety plan;
• Other ad-hoc tasks and relevant duties as assigned by the site project manager;
• Handling ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Completed a certificate in Safety Supervisor issued by CIC/OSCH to satisfy the requirements stipulated in the Factories and Industrial Undertakings (Safety Officers and Safety Supervisors) Regulations;
• At least 3 three years’ experience on construction works;
• Knowledge / Experience in ground investigation works and civil engineering infrastructure works will be an advantage.;
• Additional qualifications as Environmental Supervisor and First Aid will be highly regarded.
• Good organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications;
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
