Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in financial and commercial due diligence engagements
- Assist in valuation and market analysis engagements
- Perform analysis on target companies’ financial information to identify potential deal issues.
- Perform market research, industry and comparable analysis and financial modelling exercise.
- Assist in preparing databooks and reports independently.
- Support management teams to execute managerial duties including client relationship management and proposal preparation.
- Collaborate with and support other engagements of valuation, business restructuring and forensic M&A services.
- Support and act towards the BDO Global Vision
- Be committed to act with the firm’s core values and competency expectations
Requirements
- Degree in any one of the following areas: Accounting, Finance, Finance Engineering and/or Economics.
- Experience in commercial & financial due diligence and valuation services is preferred.
- Self-driven with can-do attitude and ability to deliver quality output to meet deadlines.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Self-driven with ability to deliver quality output on time under pressure.
- Holding or currently studying any professional qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, CFA Charter or etc. is preferred (but not essential).
- Candidate with audit experience only but are highly analytical with exceptional reporting skills will be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Candidates with less relevant experience but shows exceptional initiatives may be considered.
