This position is based in Lever Style Shenzhen office. 

PURPOSE:

Senior Finance Manager is a pivotal role that requires a mix of strategic insight, operational expertise, and leadership skills to drive the financial health and growth of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Define financial strategy with senior management towards profitability and growth targets.
2. Monitor and direct strategic business plans to support financial objectives.
3. Support executive team with new business opportunities, potential acquisitions, new business model launching, and growth initiatives. Provide recommendations and develop reporting or processes that improve insight and decision-making.
4. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks associated with business initiatives. Advise on long-term outlook and develop financial models that help influence business decision for commercial success.
5. Structure the financial terms of the partnership with strategic vendors / suppliers. This includes deciding on the type and amount of capital to be invested, the shareholding or custodian agreement, profit-sharing arrangements, and exit strategies.
6. Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess key performance metrics and performance dashboard, identify areas of improvement.
7. Develop working relationships with external stakeholders, including bankers, tax advisors, auditors, insurance brokers, and legal counsel.
8. Mentor and coach team members to build capability and support career development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. CICPA or HKICPA certification is a plus.
2. 10+ years of working experience in Finance with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in FMCG, apparel or manufacturing industry is preferred.
3. Comprehensive understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on results.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Good interpersonal skills demonstrated leadership.
7. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial modeling and analysis tools. Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
