Job Description

Job Purpose

The position is responsible for supporting full spectrum of human resources functions including talent acquisition, on-boarding, compensation & benefits, payroll administration, employee engagement and any other duties assigned.

It is a business-facing role which partner with team leaders to drive operational excellence and continuous development through delivery of HR plans and initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide all-round HR support including talent acquisitions, compensation and benefits, training and development, employee relations, employee engagement, performance management and HR administration.
  • Execute employer branding activities.
  • Act as business partner to understand business needs and empower team leads to articulate their workforce vision and its financial impact. Listen and collect feedback on people issues and craft the action plans.
  • Handle monthly payroll and benefits administration in compliance with legal and internal regulations.
  • Support annual compensation review and performance management related activities.
  • Support the team in annual workforce budgeting exercise in accordance with the SPCA’s business and workforce strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Head of HR in delivering internal communications articulating the organization’s vision, including regular messaging, townhalls and outreach roadshows.
  • Provide timely responses and advise to line managers and employees.
  • Prepare HR related reports, statistics and analysis.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records.

Qualification:

  • Higher Diploma or above in HR Management, Business Management or related discipline.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year’s relevant experience in sizable companies are preferred.
  • Well-versed with Employment Ordinance.
  • Proficient in using social media and recruitment platforms.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to relationships at various levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate a sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on the organization’s success.
  • Strong operational excellence, innovation and continuous improvement mind-set.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, trust and confidentiality.
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Proficient PC skills.
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Human Resource Officer
