Position Summary

  • The Applications Leaderposition is responsible for managing the IT Business Analysts with responsibility for gathering and documenting business requirements; recommending business process improvements or modifications; and being the communications link between IT and the Business.  The ideal candidate will have a depth of experience in Oracle ERP and Manufacturing functions of a manufacturing company; a thorough understanding of issues, challenges and compliance aspects of the industry; as well as deep technical understanding of Oracle ERP applications.  Building a strong partnership with key stakeholders across the globe is mandatory for success.  The position will be part of a global IT team.   And reports to global head of Application.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage APAC IT Business Analyst resources.
  • Deep understanding and hands on experience with Oracle EBS (GL/AR/AP/OM/PO/INV/MFG, XLA-Subledger Accounting).
  • Experience in regional inter-company (IR/ISO) processing workflow and MRP supply/demand process.
  • Key focal point for all APAC Regional IT activities, including Business Applications and Infrastructure
  • Collaboration with Planning, Finance, Manufacturing and Customer Service to define and document business requirements.
  • Representing business requirements into the IT organization for prioritization and integration.
  • Creating planning documents for inclusion in overall project planning.
  • Leading IT projects in APAC.
  • Work with Global and regional IT teams
  • Negotiating agreement and consensus between user groups to gain acceptance and improve satisfaction.
  • Delivering the applications components of IT solutions on time, on budget and delivering critical functionality in support of major business projects.
  • Communication with vendors for software purchases, negotiations, and maintenance renewals
  • Creation of the annual APAC IT Budget
  • Performs all IT due diligence activities in regards to new UEI acquisitions.
  • SOX compliance responsible for HR/Logon account control, network security management, helping in SOX external audit.
  • Mentor to APAC IT EBS team on solving daily operation issues and consultant to business operation on new requirement with proposal on procedural change and system setup update. Act as APAC IT arm to US(HQ) in order change is compiled to global standard.

Qualifications - Knowledge & Experience

  • 7+ years demonstrated success leading implementations and improvements within the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Areas:  Demand Planning, Procurement and Supply Management, Manufacturing Operations, Inventory Management, Warehousing and Order Fulfillment.
  • Experience in implementation and support of international manufacturing operations.
  • Previous Oracle ERP Global system implementation experience.
  • Experience in Production Support of Oracle ERP in a manufacturing environment
  • 7+ years of technology leadership, project and vendor management.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team of Functional and Technical Business Analysts.
  • Hands-on leadership style with ability to get in the details when required i.e. Oracle ERP knowledge to conduct data modeling and mapping.
  • Ability to train, lead and mentor.
  • Strong team player, partnering with senior/executive management and individual contributors.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
  • English both written and spoken.
  • Infrastructure related exposure/experience is a plus.

Education, Licenses & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience. MBA is preferred.
  • APICS or CSCMP Certification

Work Conditions

  • Ability to travel to other locations in China and Vietnam.
  • 40-hours plus per week
  • Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time; Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, etc.
  • Reports to Global Business Applications, VP Corporate
