Senior Java Engineer / Architect – Crypto Exchange Liquidity Platform

Our client is a leading cryptocurrency exchange with a strong global presence. The team is a dynamic group of visionary architects and innovators, specializing in low-latency trading technology. They are currently seeking a Senior Java Engineer / Architect to join their team.

In this role, you will develop and implement requested features as a hands-on contributor and act as a performance expert to sit in design discussions. You will continuously identify performance hotspots and carry out optimizations. You will also participate in support rota and assist with issue investigations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in application development
• Solid STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics) education background
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and presentation skills
• Good communication skills with proficiency in English, and Mandarin would be preferred
• Familiarity with Aeron, Disruptor, JVM, network stack, low-level programming, and hardware architecture is an advantage
• Knowledge of financial market / crypto trading would be a plus
