Role Objective
This is an exciting opportunity to join Link’s Corporate Brand team, which develops and executes branding strategy and corporate events aligned with Link’s business objectives.
We are looking for a highly skilled senior event manager to plan and execute various dynamic corporate events to promote Link’s brand reputation as we evolve to become a leading international real estate investor and manager focusing on the APAC region.
Job Duties
- Plan and execute branding events including but not limited to thematic corporate events, sponsorship events, and stakeholder engagement events on a regular basis.
- Take the lead in guest management of various events, including invitation dispatch, RSVP tracking, onsite hospitality and post-event follow up to ensure favourable experience of attendees across different sectors.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to stage promotion plan to publicise the events in line with Link’s brand strategies.
- Solicit bids and supervise vendors to deliver integrated solution to success, including event agencies, venue and catering providers, photography and videography service providers, programme designers and content contributors etc.
- Keep event plans under budget and on schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of all expenditures.
- Create post-event reviews to report back to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or other related disciplines.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in corporate marketing and event management.
- At least 3 years of experience at managerial capacity to manage direct reports.
- Experience in managing sports and/or mega events is preferred but not mandatory.
- Hands-on, resourceful, meticulous and organised.
- Ability to plan and execute events with many moving parts and deliver excellence under pressure.
- Ability to synthesise organisational messaging with a strong sense of how events fit into the broader communications strategy.
- A problem-solver with self-starter’s attitude.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English and Chinese language capabilities.
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Manager position.
Remuneration
We offer a 5-day work week and an attractive remuneration package commensurate to the right candidates with qualifications and working experience.
