Job Description

Reporting to Assistant General Manager (AGM) of Professional Competence Development (PCD), the colleague will assist to drive the market penetration and managing collaborative partners of the HKIB Professional Qualification Programmes (PQPs), including building strategic relationship with training professionals in banks, professional associations and tertiary institutions.  The colleague will actively participate in driving programme stakeholder engagement initiatives as well as be involved in the development of content material as to suit market needs.  In doing so, the colleague will actively engage with relevant external stakeholders.  He/she will also work closely with the relevant internal departments and teams in terms of operational execution.

Job Responsibility

  • Communicate and collaborate with external stakeholders of the PQPs, including academics, content providers, tertiary institutions, regulators, industry bodies, university students and banking professionals
  • Assist to assure the competence level of both training and assessment of all new and existing PQPs are being upheld to the latest industry requirements and practices
  • Formulate, drive and implement competitive product marketing strategies to achieve the targeted market penetration of all PQPs by coordinating with Marketing, Membership and Events Team (MME), Relationship Management Team (RM) and internal teams within PCD
  • Drive and manage academic and industrial collaboration with the aim to enhance PQP’s quality, recognition and penetration
  • Compile useful information to produce internal returns and reports
  • Perform ad-hoc projects and tasks assigned by supervisors

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder or above; major in Business, Finance, Marketing or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably gained from banking or finance industry or training / programme development
  • Good understanding of the overall structure of the banking industry; basic knowledge of banking products and services would be an advantage
  • Energetic, self-motivated, good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attentive to details, with the ability to multitask independently within tight timelines
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Chinese typing
  • Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua would be an advantage
  • Candidate with less relevant experience may be considered for the position of Manager, as appropriate
