Job Description

The applicant must possess

  1. a recognised degree;
  2. a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification work experience in institutional administration, preferably in vocational training bodies, educational institutions, public bodies or sizable organisations;
  3. knowledge in construction industry and management reporting would be an advantage;
  4. strong leadership, team management, self-initiated and problem solving skills;
  5. a high level of integrity and a strong sense of accountability;
  6. good communication, people management, and interpersonal skills;
  7. pro-active, resourceful and energetic character, able to work independently with minimal supervision;
  8. good knowledge and skills in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint as well as other data analytic tools; and
  9. good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Duties include

  1. to oversee daily administrative and service centre operation of the Hong Kong Construction Industry Trade Testing Centre (HKCITTC);
  2. to act team head to supervise the administration team to ensure smooth operation of HKCITTC;
  3. to manage good housekeeping and supporting services for the Centre;
  4. to manage and provide high level of customer service for industry stakeholders;
  5. to support the formulation of policies and guides for improvement of service level and industry recognition of the Centre;
  6. to assist the adoption of computerisation and carry out user acceptance test in system implementation;
  7. to perform secretariat duties for related committees, task forces, promotion events, seminars, conferences, and any other relevant activities;
  8. to prepare for the annual budget, monitor and control office expenses;
  9. to provide administration supports to center management;
  10. to act as duty-in-charge during non-office hour operation; and
  11. to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.
