Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary factory evaluation on the quality control process
• Identify gaps and guide suppliers on general manufacturing process improvement
• Provide guidance to suppliers on manufacturing process and technique improvement specific to each product
• Share best practices and scale up manufacturing capability building efforts
• Govern the execution of manufacturing process improvements
• Analyse production metrics and customer feedback to pinpoint and act upon continuous production quality enhancement opportunities
• Create Kmart requirement of quality control process standard for production
• Conduct preliminary factory technical audit focus on industry model if required
• Lower cost from diversified supplier base/Supplier capability building to meet Kmart requirement
• Provide training to peers and suppliers if required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering or related
• At least 5 years of related working experience
• Proven hands-on manufacturing experience
• In-depth knowledge of Lean Manfacturing and 6 Sigma
• Strong understanding of quality management system and practices
• Rich Experience in operational & project management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong influencing skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills both in English and Mandarin
• Self-discipline, good team player, self-motivated, open minded
