Senior Project Engineer - Toy Manufacturer

Responsibilities:

• Managing project including hardware, software design and cost estimation
• Responsible for product costing and development, project follow-up and trouble shooting
• Ensures quality of newly developed product regarding color and construction meets internal and external customer satisfaction requirements
• Pre-production following of new release product, Testing standard (safety, EMC, etc.)
• Ensures Product Development adherence to all critical dates
• Review and ensure pricing is competitive and correct
• Proactively identifies areas of improvement, related to systems, processes
• Work with factory engineer for each product
• Communication among customer for their need

Requirements:

• University / Tertiary education / Diploma in Engineering preferably in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years solid experience as a senior executive in a Toys Manufacturer with sizable operations
• Good knowledge of European & USA Toys Safety Standard (Lab Testing knowledge) is an advantage
• Hands-on experience to work with OEM factory is essential
• Possess strong technical knowledge and trouble-shooting ability to meet the production /manufacturing needs
• Able to prioritize requests and propose effective alternatives when necessary
• Ability to show judgment in developing new approaches and resolving issues
• Analytical, sound judgment and decision making, problem solver, attention to detail
• Good command of written and spoken English is a must
• Fluent in Mandarin/Cantonese is highly prefer
