(Senior) Security Consultant

Job Summary

As a (Senior) Security Consultant, you will be focusing on the security aspects of our solutions. Your role will bridge the gap between pre-sales consultations and technical oversight, ensuring that our security services not only meet customer expectations but also adhere to the highest industry standards. Collaborating closely with clients and internal teams, you will leverage your expertise in security solutions to guide the technical delivery process. Your commitment to staying at the forefront of security technology and best practices will be key in driving innovation and maintaining our reputation for excellence. 

Role and Responsibilities:

Pre-Sales Consultancy:

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and develop tailored security solutions
• Assist in preparation of proposals and conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients
• Lead and manage PoC engagements to validate the effectiveness and suitability of security solutions in the client’s environment.
• Provide in-depth technical knowledge and expertise on security products and solutions

Solution Service Delivery:

• Lead technical teams in the implementation of security solutions, providing guidance and support as needed
• Oversee the delivery of security services, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
• Conduct regular reviews of project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks
• Participate in project implementation, troubleshooting and documentation
• Coordinate with different stakeholders, serve as a point of escalation and assist engineers with projects and security cases

Continuous Improvement:

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all security implementations
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standard operating procedures for the security team
• Keep up with the latest trends and technologies in cloud security and provide recommendations for improvement and innovation
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

We are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, compute engineering, information technology or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry with a focus on pre-sales and technical leadership
• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
• Good command of written Chinese and English
• Strong understanding of security protocols, cybersecurity measures, and industry best practices
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
• Holder of security certifications, e.g. CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CCSK, CEH, CompTIA, is preferred
