The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) is responsible for the provision of desirable services for students of the University and enhancing their learning experience. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to fostering whole-person development and a vibrant campus life of students.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement activities (e.g. orientation) and support services for non-local students
- Provide guidance and support for non-local student groups
- Plan, implement and evaluate campus-wide cross-cultural integration events
- Devise and coordinate programmes related to innovation and entrepreneurship as well as Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- Provide support for central administration work
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least three years’ relevant work experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector
- A good knowledge in event planning or programme administration
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Able to carry out duties proactively and independently
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Open-minded to diverse cultures and people from different ethnic backgrounds
- Proficient in written and verbal English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
Candidates with less/more experience will be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
