Senior System Specialist / System Specialist

Job Summary

We are hiring a Senior System Specialist / System Specialist to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be work with Project Manager to deliver maintenance project. You should have a strong background in IT, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Work with the Project Manager and lead the project team to deliver maintenance projects.
• Provide daily support and system administration (including non-office hours) for
• Windows/Linux server platform
• Various virtual environments in on-premises
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Implement security patch management and Anti-Virus administration for both Windows and Linux servers.
• Conduct pre-production testing and production deployment on system migration.
• Submit changes in the ticket system.
• Provide problem diagnostic and resolution for responsible IT systems.
• Investigate and prepare reports on system engineering-related incidents.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

 Requirements

• Degree or above in Computer Science or Information Technology related discipline is preferred.
• Over 10 years of full-time working experience in Information Technology services is a must
• Functional or specialty experience in HKGOV project over 4 year is preferred.
• System engineering experience in Large-scale infrastructure support or project implementation is preferred.
• Knowledge in Windows Active Directory, Exchange Server, Linux Administration, SQL, HSM, network is an advantage. 
• Willing to cover the stand-by support mode during non-office hour with teammates.
• Hands-on experience in Windows & Linux Server administration, Microsoft Active Directory, ADFS, Exchange server, etc. Virtualization technologies, e.g., VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V, and high availability (HA) solutions such as Microsoft Cluster Server, Anti-Virus Solution, Patch Management, Systems monitoring tools, and SAN storage support.
• Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership, able to work independently and under pressure.
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as a System Specialist.
