Server and Storage Administrator, IT Department

Job Description:

• Responsible for daily manage and maintenance of server hardware and hardware to ensure system stability, reliability and efficient operation.
• Manage storage solutions, including NetApp/Synology Network Attached Storage (NAS) and iSCSI Networks (SAN) and data synchronization.
• Monitor system performance indicators and perform performance tuning to improve response speed and efficiency.
• Implement and manage virtualization technologies such as VMware/HCI/ZStack.
• Execute data backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data security and business continuity.
• Manage patches and version updates of operating systems and application software to ensure system security.
• Resolve issues related to servers and storage systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
• Plan and execute the installation, configuration and deployment of new servers and storage devices.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation documenting system design, configuration and operating manuals.
• Assist in planning for the future development of IT infrastructure, including upgrades and expansions of servers and storage equipment.
• Daily management and maintenance of email systems, such as MS Exchange / CoreMail

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience, with in-depth knowledge of server and storage system management.
• Proficient in Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems.
• Have in-depth understanding of mainstream storage technologies (such as SAN, NAS, DAS) and protocols (such as iSCSI, Fiber Channel).
• Have experience in operating virtualization technology and be familiar with VMware /HCI /ZStack platform.
• Familiar with backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Veeam, Symantec Backup Exec, etc.
• Familiar with MS Exchange / CoreMail email system
• Have strong problem-solving skills and be able to handle complex technical issues independently.
• Good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
• Applicants holding relevant professional certifications (such as Microsoft MCSE, VMware VCP, Cisco CCNA Storage) will be given priority.
