Service Engineer M/F (Hong Kong)

The Function
After technical training, you will be able to work independently. As a Service Engineer, you will provide training, service such as repairing and trouble shooting at the public transport companies and bus manufacturers in cities of Asia Pacific region.

Tasks and responsibilities of the Service Engineer, amongst others, are: 

• Install, troubleshoot and maintain Ventura door systems;
• Identify analyze and repair product failures, orders replacement parts as required;
• Maintaining close contacts with colleagues from other departments within the organization
• Participate in service meeting of operators
• Advise on technical improvement

The Profile
You have a solid technical background, analytical skills and are inventive. You are aware or where improvements are needed and act in a proactive and entrepreneurial way to solve these. 

Job Requirements
For this position, you need the following qualifications:

• Technical educated in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive;
• Knowledge of and interest in pneumatic and electrical systems;
• Valid driver’s license;
• Flexible attitude and open to Mainland China and international travels on regular basis;
• Good communication skills;
• Good knowledge of the English and Mandarin language, ability to speak additional language will be a plus;
• Ability to read, interpret and understand drawings and schematics;
• Basic computer operation skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office;
• Willing to travel and work aboard
