Shipping and Administrative Manager
Responsibilities
· Supervising and managing the activities of the shipping department
· Responsible for handling and supervising I/E documents, L/C documents and banking documents;
· Ensuring that all shipping documents, such as invoices and packing lists, are completed accurately and on time
· Communicate with freight forwarders / Ningbo office to handle shipments from China to overseas export destinations
· Communicate with Ningbo office and customer ensure documents accuracy, shipping instructions, timely payments and final settlements;
· Communicate with banks related import and export LC, other documentary operations, payment compliance check;
· Liaise with company accountant to manage supplier deposits & basic management of payment records
· Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in handling I/E documents, L/C documents and banking documents;
Able to handle all above tasks independently
Must be very organized & responsible
Experience in trading company is beneficial
Willing to work in a small office
Good written and spoken English and Mandarin
Knowledge of relevant shipping regulations and documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Customs declarations).
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced shipping environment.
Good PC skills, including MS Word, Excel;
