Shipping Manager

Responsibilities:

• Transforming the current work style into a modern one
• Responsible for planning and implementing overall shipping functional strategy objectives to maximize the efficiency and profitability of the Company, and to achieve the best practices in systems, processes and technology
• Lead a small team for the entire shipping operation including I/E documentation, shipment schedules and logistics arrangements
• Liaise with suppliers, carriers and forwarders to ensure timely shipment
• Collaborate with buyers/merchandising teams to plan orders and schedule shipment
• Monitor the cost of logistics service providers and evaluate their performance

Requirements:

• Analytical mindset with the strong ability to observe, adapt and change processes
• A Managerial level in logistics within the garment manufacturing industry.
• Strong communication skills with ability to handle multi tasks independently
• Familiar with LDP/DDP operation
• Excellent command in English speaking and writing
• Good at Microsoft 365
