Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project-in-Charge to plan and implement a 3-year Project on Health Support for families of ethnic minority in Hong Kong Island, Islands and Kwun Tong districts;
- Prepare service statistics and reports;
- Connect with local stakeholders, such as schools, kindergartens, social and medical services organizations;
- Render outreaching service and organize programs and groups for children, parents and families on health promotion and management;
- Organize volunteer training programs;
- Collaborate with nurse-led team of CUHK on intake health assessment and intervention;
- Shift duty on Saturdays, Sundays and nights.
Requirements:
- Registered Social Worker;
- Degree or above in Social Work or equivalent;
- Have Level 2 or above in English Language and Chinese Language in HKCEE / HKDSE or equivalent;
- Able to speak in English and Chinese;
- Able to speak a minority language such as Urdu, Hindi or Nepal will be an advantage;
- Enthusiastic for working with ethnic minority families.
