Responsibilities:
 

  • Assist the Project-in-Charge to plan and implement a 3-year Project on Health Support for families of ethnic minority in Hong Kong Island, Islands and Kwun Tong districts;
     
  • Prepare service statistics and reports;
     
  • Connect with local stakeholders, such as schools, kindergartens, social and medical services organizations;
     
  • Render outreaching service and organize programs and groups for children, parents and families on health promotion and management;
     
  • Organize volunteer training programs;
     
  • Collaborate with nurse-led team of CUHK on intake health assessment and intervention;
     
  • Shift duty on Saturdays, Sundays and nights.


Requirements:
 

  • Registered Social Worker;
     
  • Degree or above in Social Work or equivalent;
     
  • Have Level 2 or above in English Language and Chinese Language in HKCEE / HKDSE or equivalent;
     
  • Able to speak in English and Chinese;
     
  • Able to speak a minority language such as Urdu, Hindi or Nepal will be an advantage;
     
  • Enthusiastic for working with ethnic minority families.
