Software QA Engineer / Developer

IDX Games / idNerd Studio are looking for a QA Engineer / Developer to grow our dev team. As a QA Engineer / Developer, you will be testing complex software system that involve both hardware and software integration, as well as front end and back end system.

You will work together with project managers, UX/UI designers, backend developers, frontend developers to help create world-class visualization and management tools for the casino / gaming industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of apps being used by users and testing of applications on various hardware. The role will involve a close relationship with product and development teams
• Prepare test cases and provide appropriate planning and execution in different testing to ensure successful application deployment
  eg. Feature testing, UAT testing, BAT testing, Regression testing, Stress testing, etc
• Ensure that all aspects of quality are actively discussed and addressed during the delivery process
• Develop and improve API test practice
• Test data preparation
• Develop test automation and increase overall test automation coverage
• Maintain CI/CD pipeline with Deployment Engineer / Developer
• Debug issues and diagnose root causes
• Occassionally assist with deployment team if needed.

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science, equivalent or solid experience in the field
• Familiar with Linux environment, tools, and scripting
• Decent understanding of Software Architecture with focus on Reliability and Availability
• General knowledge of computer networking
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in English
• Continuous integration and automated E2E testing experience is highly preferred
• Hands on experience with version control (GIT, SVN) and build system (Jenkins, Hudson) is highly preferred
• Hands on experience with test tools like Selenium, Appium, Cucumber is plus
• Hands on experience with load testing tools such as LoadRunner, Jmeter, SIPP, Tsung is a big plus.
